This is a social group, there are no class fees, but sometimes we share the costs of products that we may be using. Everyone works on their own latest ideas and we sometimes combine to have some fun on a new idea together. Generally, we are working in fibre, knitting, spinning, stitching, weaving , dyeing, eco dyeing, painting on silk, felting and needle felting.....but we do also work with paper and other mad ideas as well. tuesday

this is a fully teaching art class, where my goal is to teach you to be the artist that you want to be. We usually are painting but we do have sessions at times where we work with mixed media and mediums such as lino cuts, printing techniques, water colour, mark making, collage and other fun things. I do not use oils in the classes for health and safety of the class. if you are interested in joining class please email me to be put on the waiting list

In this class you will learn all the skills of silversmithing - working with metal - learning to cut, file, solder, polish, forge and shape. and set stones. I teach you how to design your jewellery ideas and then how to make them through to a high-end finish. We make rings, earrings, pendants, brooches and bangles/bracelets. there are a lot of skills to be learnt in jewellery making so it can take a number of terms to master them. all tools that you require are available in class. if you are interested in joining the class please email me to be put on the waiting list

coptic book binding workshop
Dates: always a consecutive 2 day workshop - class fee: $100 per day class size restricted to 6
Coptic binding is a very ancient technique where the pages of the book are stitched together using a double needle process. making your own books by hand is a truely lovely experience. Book Packs:A4 $35 (This is the size you will make the most of)A5 $25some materials also supplied as part of class fee extra material costs etc can be totalled up at the end of each day and put through the eftpos machine. if you are interested in doing this workshop please email me
facing the fear of the blank page workshop
Dates: to be decided class fee: $100 class size restricted to 8
This is a workshop that is a day of fun and playing to work on the blank page and also to explore ideas to alter and change books and to make exciting covers.
